Cielo Rosa, Frequently Asked Questions
Bra Technical Difficulties Bra Dilemmas

Why does my bra keep riding up in the back?
Chances are you are in the wrong bra. Victoria has been putting every woman in the wrong bra for years (and still is). Most likely, your band size is too large and your cup size too small. You see, your band is NEVER supposed to be loose. So adding 5"" to your band measurement will not only make it super loose and uncomfortable, it also makes it look like you've been hanging on a hook all day. And to top it off, your boobs are sagging as a result.

First, we need to get you in the right bra size. Once you're in the right size, you may need to adjust your back hook and straps to get the front and back of your bra equally level. Make sure the straps do not cut into your shoulders. Your breasts should be level with the middle of your arm.

Why do my straps keep falling down? I'm getting tired of having to adjust them all the time.
Try tightening the straps. Straps should be adjusted only enough to give support to the bust without cutting into the shoulders. If the straps are falling down, you may not be filling up the cups. Try a smaller cup size. If coupled with a band that rides up, you may need a smaller band size. Check our Get the Best Fit guide determine if you are buying the right size for you.

If you have a problem with perpetual falling straps, you may want to try a different style of bra, such as a T-back, U-back or racerback style.

My bra is giving me strap marks.
If the straps are adjusted too tightly they may cause the band to rise, creating awkward lines and discomfort. Try loosening the bra's straps. If that doesn't work, you need a bra that doesn't require the shoulder straps to do all the heavy lifting. A good bra has cups supportive enough to lift you without much help from the straps. If yours doesn't, you could be wearing the wrong size bra. Check your size and choose a bra with added lift or underwire for more support. A full cup works best. Fix it now and you'll avoid having permanent indentations on the top of your shoulders.

My underwire is so uncomfortable! My underwire keeps sticking out in the middle of my breasts.
Get yourself in the right band size. That should fix it. If a bra fits well, you shouldn't even feel the underwire. When a cup is too shallow or the bra band rides up the back, the underwire slides forward into the breast tissue, causing weight to impinge on the rib cage, or dig into midriff.

Why for the life of me can I not get my breasts to stop sagging?
Lift those puppies up and get your self in the right band size because the band you have now could be too loose or too narrow for the size of your bust. Make sure you the new band is firmly in place on your back and not too high. After that, tighten your straps to make sure you have the right lift.

There are wrinkles across my bust under my shirt.
Sounds like you got over ambitious in the cup area and your cup size is too large. Check your cup size and get yourself into some new bras immediately. For those smooth tops you like to wear, you'll want to make sure that you get a bra in a seamless microfiber fabric or a bra described as being seamless such as the Le Mystere Tisha 955 T-Shirt Bra, Le Mystere Tisha 9955 Bra, or any of our other T-Shirt bras.

Why do my breasts keep spilling out of the top and/or sides of my bra?
Probably because your cups are too small. It could also be a result of having your straps too tight. Make sure you are in the right size and then get a new bra or adjust accordingly.

My left breast is bigger than my right one. How do I know which size to buy?
Most women have one breast that is bigger than the other. Not a big deal, just fit the cup to the larger breast, and adjust the strap on the smaller side to compensate. If you feel the difference is dramatic, you may opt to have your bras custom made.

How often should I replace a bra?
Bras do lose their firmness over time. They stretch, they have wires that pop out, seams break and so on. When you first buy a bra, make sure that you can wear it on the loosest (last) hook. As that loosens, you'll be able to make you bra last longer by moving it inward. Once the third hook becomes loose, it's time for a new one. Immediately replace your bra if the underwire pops out or the straps break. Please do not embarrass yourself with safety pins.

How do I keep my bra for accentuating my back fat?
Gotta hate that. If you think your bra is too tight, you're wrong. It's actually too big. Figure out the proper band size and wear it lower on your back. That should alleviate your back fat issue.

What should I wear with a backless gown or top?
Going backless doesn't mean your breasts have to jiggle. Try a convertible bra such as the Le Mystere Shameless convertible bra that provides clear support at the small of the back and waist.

What should I wear under tanks or with spaghetti straps?
Try a Y bra or T-Back bra. A strapless bra is another perfect choice. If none of those ideas appeal to you, try wearing a strapless bra with clear straps or a bra with thin straps that coordinates with you tank so well that you don't mind them showing.

What should I wear under tight t-shirts and sweaters?
You need a bra that is both smooth and seamless. A T-Shirt bra is the perfect solution. You may go with a microfiber, seamless cup that will show off your natural shape go with a lightly-padded, molded bra. Try the Le Mystere Tisha 955 T-Shirt Bra.

I'm in a wedding and must wear a strapless gown. My breasts are large and I can't wear a strapless. What can I do?
Yes you can! Try a strapless bra with a fuller cup, such as the Le Mystere Dream Shameless strapless. It is designed for the larger breasted woman and provides full coverage and goes up to a 40G.
